Heathrow Taxi Prices

Typically, Heathrow Airport taxi prices are set by the London postcode your are going to or from. For long distance journeys outside London, prices are calculated by mileage and you should expect to pay in the region of £1.50 per mile.
 

In most cases, Heathrow taxis charge a little extra for picking you up from the airport than they do for dropping you there. Usually about £5, this is to cater for the additional waiting time and car park charges involved. It is normal for some free waiting time and parking charges to be including in the price for airport pickups, though how much exactly varies from company to company.
 

The normal rules for bigger taxis and minicabs applies to Heathrow Airport taxis as well, i.e. if you need a larger car for more suitcases, it will cost you more. Premium prices also apply if you choose Executive cars like a Mercedes E-Class or a BMW 7-Series.
 

Please always remember only to use authorised taxis and minicabs for Heathrow Airport journeys. If in doubt, ask the driver or company to provide their licence number.
